Our annual excursion out to Block Island was bestowed with some beautiful weather. The sun was shining and it was hot, but Mother Nature saw her way to provide a cooling breeze. Since this was my first trip out to Block Island for a game in almost ten years, I was also suprised to see that the field had been renovated and there was actual grass on the ground in stead of the saw grass and goose poop in years past.

The "Trophy" was sharing the ability to step onto the pitch and play. It was great to have shared the field with the many folks who truly love the game. Thank you to the several folks who stepped it up when called upon to play for us, as well as we for them. Also some notable Rhody Old Cocks: Tom Mazzone, George Pratt Dan DiSantis, Brian Foley, and also several Boston/Hounds + Canadians (No worries-- none from Vancouver!). Lot's of laughs, story's and sore muscles. Thank you Gentleman.
